RPG scenario generator for your AI
dsprompt is a free tool for game masters. Answer a few questions about your table and your story, and it assembles a complete brief. Paste it into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or any other AI, and the AI writes a ready-to-run tabletop RPG scenario, one phase at a time.
How to create an RPG scenario with AI
- Choose your start. A new adventure, or the sequel to one you have played.
- Set the frame. One-shot, mini-campaign or campaign, game system, setting, tone and table.
- Add detail if you like. Characters, plot, threats, world and rewards. Whatever you leave empty, the AI infers.
- Paste the prompt into your AI. It works in phases, and you type GO to continue.
What your AI will produce
The brief asks the AI to work like a team of authors: story, world, encounters, characters and rules. It checks its work before delivering each phase.
- An overview and a phase plan
- Character sheets
- Monster stat blocks, adapted to your system
- A villain with two combat phases
- The scenario booklet, scene by scene
- Image prompts to illustrate characters and creatures
- A final summary to prepare what comes next
Compatible tabletop RPGs
- Dungeons & Dragons 5e, 2014 and 2024 rules
- Pathfinder 2e
- Call of Cthulhu
- Vampire: The Masquerade
- Chroniques Oubliées
- Savage Worlds
- FATE
- Your own homebrew system, or a freeform narrative game
The prompt adapts to the chosen system, especially for characters and creature stat blocks.
Frequently asked questions
Is dsprompt free?
Yes, entirely, with no account and no subscription. The site runs on donations and an affiliate link to game gear.
Which AI should I use?
One that accepts a long text and keeps track of a conversation: ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini all work. Scenario quality also depends on the AI and your plan.
Does dsprompt write the scenario itself?
No. dsprompt has no built-in AI: it prepares the instructions, and your AI does the writing. You keep the choice of tool.
Are my answers saved?
No. Everything stays in your browser and disappears when you close the tab. To continue an adventure, keep your AI's final summary and paste it on your next visit.
Can I prepare a campaign?
Yes. Choose mini-campaign or campaign, then the sequel option for each new session.
